The Azerbaijan National Agency for Mine Action (ANAMA) has received information from 102 Call Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs that a hand grenade and cartridges of various calibers were found in Sulutepe settlement of Baku’s Binagadi district.
ANAMA immediately sent its mobile operative group to the scene, the Agency told APA.
ANAMA specialists inspected the waste dump area of the settlement. As a result of the measures taken, 24 units of unexploded military ordnance (23 cartridges of various calibers, a F1 hand grenade) and 17 units of spare cartridges were discovered and seized for neutralization.
