Large number of UXOs discovered in Azerbaijan

A large number of unexploded ordinances have been discovered in Fuzuli district, Azerbaijan, Azerbaijan National Agency for Mine Action (ANAMA) told APA.

The findings included 24 82-mm mortar shells (O-832), 4 PQ-9 missile cartridges, 1 122-mm artillery shell (OF-462P), 1 125-mm tank shell (OF-26), 18 5.45-caliber patrons, 25 mines (23 MVZ-57 triggers for anti-tank mines) and 2 anti-pedestrian mines (Ozm-72).

UXOs hard to transport were exploded where they were. Overall, 2,100 square meters of area were inspected.
