Azerbaijani soldier Elvin Ahmadov (1997), who died while preventing a provocation by Armenian armed forces a few days ago, was today laid to rest in the Seyidlar village of Tovuz district, his home village, APA’s west bureau reported.
District executive officials, public figures, fellow servicemen of the same military unit, State Service for Mobilization and Conscription officials, and villagers paid their last respects to the soldier.
The deceased soldier was praised by the gathering for his battlefield valor and then laid to rest.
The flag covering the coffin was presented to the soldier’s father.
