OSCE to monitor contact line between Azerbaijani, Armenian troops

The OSCE is expected to monitor the line of contact between Azerbaijani and Armenian troops near Sarijali village of Azerbaijan’s Aghdam district on Jan. 16, the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry told APA.

The monitoring will be held under the mandate of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office Personal Representative.

The Personal Representative’s field assistants Ghenadie Petrica and Simon Tiller will carry out the monitoring exercise from the territory of Azerbaijan.

The Personal Representative’s field assistants Mihail Olaru and Martin Schuster will carry out the monitoring exercise in the territory of the Republic of Azerbaijan occupied and controlled by the armed forces of Armenia.
