92nd anniversary of Rostropovich's birth marked in Azerbaijan

The 92^nd anniversary of the famous Russian musician Mstislav Rostropovich's birth was marked in Azerbaijan, ONA reports.

The celebration took place in the Rostropovich Museum in the Azerbaijani capital, Baku. Students of the Baku Music Academy named after Uzeyir Hajibeyli, students of the Central Art School and other guests attend the event.

The slide-show is presented on the life and masterpieces of the musician at the event. The pictures featured master lessons were taught by Rostropovich in Baku, his visit to Baku museums, memoirs about his meeting with refugees and internally displaced people.
