Azerbaijan’s carpets and embroidery dating back to Soviet times to be exhibited in Moscow

The exhibition entitled as ““Echo of Soviet Azerbaijan. Carpet. Embroidery. Placard” will be opened in the State Oriental Museum in Moscow, the Ministry of Culture told APA.

The relevant information was disseminated by the web portal of Moscow mayor and government.

It will be possible to see Azerbaijani carpets and embroidery dating back to the Soviet times from February 5 till March 1.

“The exposition demonstrates how the remarkable historical events impacted decorative and applied arts”, the report says.

It is noted that at the exhibition encompassing 40 artifacts, the carpets included in the collection of the Azerbaijani National Carpet Museum and dating back to 1920-1970-ies presented.

Besides, the visitors of the museum will be able to see the placards from Merjani Fund dating back to 1920-1930-ies and the embroidery of the revolution period.
