Famous Korean filmmaker Kim Ki-duk died of coronavirus in Latvia, APA reports.

He arrived in the country on November 20. 

According to the Latvian portal Delfi, the director died in the hospital on the night of December 11 from complications associated with COVID-19.

The director of ArtDocFest / Riga Vitālijs Manskis said Kim Ki-duk was going to buy a house in Jurmala and apply for a residence permit, but did not show up for the meeting appointed in this regard.
