During January-September of this year, the Azerbaijani consumers spent AZN 498,2 mln. on pharmaceutical products and medical supplies in retail trade network, the State Statistics Committee told APA-Economics.
This figure is 37,4% more compared to the same period of the previous year. Just during the past month, the pharmaceutical products and medical supplies amounting to AZN 58,6 mln. were sold to population which is 4,1% more compared to August. Remind that the purchase of pharmaceutical products and medical supplies by population during August decreased by 11,6% compared to July.
Note that during January-September, 1,8% of the funds spent by consumers in retail trade network were spent on purchase of pharmaceutical products and medical supplies. This is 0,5 percentage items more compared to the beginning of the year.
