The export of the products produced by Azerbaijan to the Syrian market is envisaged, executive director of the Arab Countries’ Cooperation Association Yalchin Aliyev told APA-Economics.
He said access to this market for Azerbaijan will be provided by Jordan the negotiations in regard to which have already taken place: "From the geographical viewpoint, the access to the Syrian market would be favorable from Lebanon, but the problems existing in this country don’t allow for this. Just for this reason, we intend to realize the implementation of this project together with Jordan".
The executive director of the association added that along with this, the introduction of the Azerbaijani products to the markets of Egypt, Oman and Bahrain is also envisaged.
"In their turn, the business circles of these countries stated their readiness to make investments in Azerbaijan’s pharmaceutical, petrochemical industries, hotel and restaurant businesses. Of course, all these are subject to extinction of the pandemic so that the investors could arrive in the country and to evaluate the existing condition visually", Y. Aliyev said.
