The Caspian European Club has organized an online B2B Transport forum with the participation of the Deputy Minister of Transport, Communications and High Technologies of the Azerbaijan Republic. Discussed in the forum were issues and suggestions of transport and logistics companies, the Company told APA.

Deputy Head of the State Road Transport Service under the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies of the Azerbaijan Republic Ibrahim Aliyev, Head of the Transport Policy Department of the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies of the Azerbaijan Republic Azer Aliyev, Deputy General Director of the Baku International Sea Trade Port CJSC Akbar Karimov, Head of the Transit Department of the State Customs Committee of the Republic of Azerbaijan Farid Veliyev, Deputy Head of the Department for Road Taxes of the State Customs Committee of the Azerbaijan Republic Sultan Huseynov, a representative of the Azerbaijan Republic Agency for Small and Medium-sized Business Development for Baku city ( a friend of SME) Vusal Gasimov and top managers of public and private companies, representing different sectors of economy, also joined the discussions of the online B2B Transport forum which lasted for two hours.
“The country's leadership has set the task of turning Azerbaijan into a regional transport hub. Azerbaijan's transit potential and existing infrastructure make it possible for local and foreign transport and logistics companies to carry out cargo transportation in all existing directions”, Elmir Velizade noted.
The importance of maintaining human resources was highlighted. Besides, information about the state support measures, taken to minimize the negative impact of the COVID – 19 pandemic on the transport sector, was provided.
On behalf of the top managers of the Caspian European Club member companies, the Chairman and CEO of the Caspian European Club Telman Aliyev expressed gratitude to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and all representatives of the economic bloc of the Government of Azerbaijan for the active involvement and support which they provide to entrepreneurs during the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic.
B2B forum is a unique platform for international business networking created by the Caspian European Club, where business representatives make short presentations, talk about their activities, share industry problems and offer solutions to these problems.
Online B2B forums are held twice a week and serve as an additional platform for communicating in an informal setting and establishing new business contacts with heads of companies from different sectors of the economy of Azerbaijan, Georgia, Kazakhstan, as well as other countries of the Caspian-Black Sea and Baltic regions.
