The chemical threads used in production of medical masks have been exempted from import customs duty, APA reports.
The Cabinet of Ministers has made a change in this regard in the document entitled as “The goods nomenclature of foreign economic activity of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the rates of import customs duties and the rates of export customs duties”.
Based on the decision, the chemical threads brought in the country for the purpose of production of medical masks (for surgical operation or medical procedure) have been exempted from 15 percent import customs duty until December 31, 2022.
