"We observe campaign initiatives against Azerbaijani companies in social media," Business Ombudsman of Georgia Irakli Lekvinadze said at the meeting with the members of Azerbaijani Business Association, ONA’s Georgian bureau reports.
He stated that this situation was mainly observed after David Gareja (Keshikchidag) monastery issue: “There are many Azerbaijani companies operating in Georgia. Such actions against them are unacceptable. This may have a negative impact on successful business relations between the two countries.”
“Business Ombudsman is ready to provide support to Azerbaijani companies in Georgia,” Irakli Lekvinadze said.
The representatives of the Azerbaijani Business Association also noted that the campaigns aimed at undermining business relations between the two countries are inadmissible and to be condemned.
