President Ilham Aliyev has issued a decree on more improvement of management in small and medium entrepreneurship.
APA-Economics reports that an Agency on Development of Small and Medium Entrepreneurship public legal entity was established under Ministry of Economy.
The agency will support development of the small and medium entrepreneurship.
According to the decree, under the Agency, a House of Small and Medium Entrepreneurship will be created, which will provide several services (training, consultation, information, business incubator, innovation centre, financial services and etc.). It will operate through ASAN Service and regional departments of the Ministry of Economy where ASAN Service does not operate.
The Agency will have Supervisory Board consisting of Ministers of Economy, Finance, Labour and Social Protection of Population and deputy ministers of agriculture, Deputy chairman of State Agency on Service to Citizens and Social Innovations and President of Azerbaijan Entrepreneurship Confederation. Chairman of the Supervisory Board will be Minister of Economy.
The revenues of the pubic legal entity will come from allocations from state budget, receipts on services rendered, grants and other sources provided in the regulatoins.
