Trade turnover between Azerbaijan and Georgia increases 45%
The trade turnover between Azerbaijan and Georgia made up $316,285,400 in January-May 2017, up $98,920,000 or 45.51% from previous year.
According to National Statistics Office of Georgia, the trade turnover between the two countries makes up 8.0% of Georgia’s total foreign trade turnover.
In the reporting period, Georgia exported products worth $63,450,600, up $32,565,600 or 2.05-fold from previous year. This figure makes up 6.3% of export in total foreign trade of Georgia.
Azerbaijan exported products worth $252,834,800 to Georgia in the reporting period, up $66,354,400 or 35.58% in comparison with 2016. This figure makes up 8.6% of total import of Georgia.
