Fitch lowers its forecasts regarding oil price

"Fitch Ratings" international rating agency has announced its forecasts regarding oil prices, APA-Economics reports citing the agency.

The price forecasted for this year has been reduced from USD 65 to USD 63.4 for one barrel of Brent oil, and from USD 57.5 to USD 56.83 for one barrel of the oil of WTI brand.

And the agency’s forecasts regarding oil prices during 2020-2021 haven’t changed. It is forecasted that in 2020 the prices for the oil of Brent and WTI brands will be USD 62.5 and USD 57.5 correspondingly, and in 2021 – USD 60 and USD 55.

According to the agency’s forecasts, in 2022 and over a longer period, the price per barrel of Brent oil will become USD 57.5 dollar, and per barrel of the oil of WTI brand – USD 55.
