“1 090 tonnes of oil have been produced in offshore fields of Azerbaijan, situated in the Caspian Sea so far”, Yashar Latifov, Vice President for Field Development of the SOCAR said in Caspian Technical Conference held in Baku, APA-Economics reports.
According to him, 713 bln. c/m gas has been produced in offshore fields by this time.
Y. Latifov noted that 979 mln. tonnes of oil and 139 bln. c/m gas have been produced in onshore fields of Azerbaijan during past time.
He also stated that 53 onshore oil-gas fields have been revealed in Azerbaijan so far and 40 of them is being developed currently. Additionally, 28 offshore fields have been revealed in the country and 19 of them are developed.
