After commissioning of the Trans-Anatolian gas pipeline (TANAP), over 5.1 bln. cubic meters of gas have been delivered to Turkey via this pipeline, the Energy Ministry told  "APA-Economics".

1.3 bln. cubic meters of gas were transported to Turkey via TANAP during January-April of this year.

Note that the TANAP pipeline is the central component of the Southern Gas Corridor (SGC). Currently, the Azerbaijani gas is being transported to Turkey via this pipeline. This year, after commissioning of the Trans-Adriatic gas pipeline (TAP), the gas will start to be transported via TANAP to Turkey-Greece border in order to be delivered to Europe.
