Azerbaijan will produce 2 960,8 kg of gold ores and concentrates in 2024, and this is 21,5% less than in comparison to forecast for 2021, APA-Economics reports citing "Concept and forecast indicators of economic and social development of the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2021 and the next 3 years" included in the budget envelope.
According to the forecast, 3 770,9 kg of gold ores and concentrates will be produced in Azerbaijan in 2021. This figure will make up 3 699,6 kg in 2022, 3 502 kg in 2023.
Totally, 13 933,3 kg of gold ores and concentrates are expected to be extracted over the next 4 years in the country.
According to the information, the decrease in production will be also observed in the silver production field. Thus, 3 505,3kg of silver ores and concentrates will be produced in 2024 in the country, and this is 7,2% less than in comparison to the forecast for 2021.
It is noted that 3 775,3 kg of silver ores and concentrates will be produced in Azerbaijan in 2021. This figure will make up 3 751,5 kg in 2022, 3 685,7 kg in 2023.
Totally, 14 717,8 kg of silver ores and concentrates are forecasted to be extracted in 2021-2024 in the country.
