15% customs duty to be applied for gasoline, imported to Azerbaijan from tomorrow

Customs duty of 15% will be implemented for gasoline, brought to Azerbaijan from foreign countries from November 30, APA-Economics reports.

According to the amendment of the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers on “Commodity nomenclature of foreign economic activity of the Republic of Azerbaijan, rates of import customs duties, and rates of export customs duties” dated in August 26, 2019, gasoline for automobiles, with a lead content not exceeding 0.013 g/l with an octane rating of 92 or greater and gasoline for automobiles, with a lead content not exceeding 0.013 g/l with an octane rating less than 95 have been released from 15% customs duty for 90 days from September 1.

The decision will lose validity on November 30.
