23.6 million tonnes of oil have been produced in the Azeri-Chirag-Deepwater Gunashli (ACG) oil-gas fields block last year, which is 9.2% less in comparison with 2019 indicator, APA-Economics reports citing BP report on results of operations in Azerbaijan in 2020.
According to the report, at the end of 2020, 127 oil wells were producing, while 45 wells were used for water and eight for gas injection.
"In 2020, we spent more than $531 million in operating expenditure and more than $1,817 million in capital expenditure on ACG activities.
In 2020, ACG completed 11 oil producer and 2 injector wells," noted in the report.
