In January of this year, 3 251,4 thousand tonnes of oil has been transported through main pipelines in Azerbaijan, and it is 5.4% less in comparison with relevant period of the previous year, State Statistics Committee told APA-Economics.
80.8% of the transportation is carried out via Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan (BTC) and during January of the current year 2 628,4 tonnes of oil has been transported (a decrease of 6.6% in comparison with January of 2018).
“During the period 382,3 tonnes of transit oil (a decrease of 11.5% - red.) has been transported through BTC”, noted in the information.
