A seminar on “Pakistan today” jointly organized by Center for International Relations Analysis and Embassy of Pakistan to Azerbaijan was held, APA reports.
Chairman of the Board of Center for International Relations Analysis Farid Shafiyev noted that there is strategic partnership between two countries.
Ambasador of Pakistan to Azerbaijan Bilal Hayee noted that there is wide cooperation in different fields between Pakistan and Azerbaijan and relations expand day by day.
Then the diplomat informed participants of the seminar on the Naya Pakistan concept. He said that this concept envisages establishing a welfare state based on economic security.
The ambassador stressed that the government takes important steps on creating equal opportunities for all sections of society.
Mr. Ambassador noted that one of Pakistan's main goals is to maintain friendly relations with its neighbors: "Afghanistan has been suffering from instability for years, but recently emerged opportunities to restore peace and stability. As Pakistan, we are interested in the restoration of stability in this country.”
He also added that Azerbaijan and Pakistan have close cooperation in the field of military.
The diplomat noted that the Azerbaijan-Pakistan joint business forum is planned to be held in April
Mr. Ambassador has also emphasized that Pakistani companies will soon join the process of restoring the liberated territories of Azerbaijan.
