An intergovernmental agreement will be signed between Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan regulating cooperation between the parties over joint exploration, development, and acquisition of hydrocarbon resources of the "Dostlug" field, APA reports.
It has been reflected in the draft law “On approval of the Memorandum of Understanding “On joint exploration, development, and acquisition of hydrocarbon resources of the "Dostlug" field in the Caspian Sea between the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Government of Turkmenistan.”
According to the document, the sides will establish a joint Working Group for working out an agreement of intergovernmental treaty.
Joint Working Group will develop and reach an agreement on projects of the intergovernmental treaty as soon as possible.
