Azerbaijan decreases electricity production

According to the information on operative information on eight months of 2020, electricity production in the Republic has been 2156,2 mln. kW/h, export 97,86 mln. kW/h, while import 7.3 mln. kW/h, Ministry of Energy told APA-Economics.

Electricity production has decreased by 224,7 mln. kW/h, export by 67,74 mln. kW/h, while import by 3,5 mln. kW/h in June in comparison with the relevant period of 2019.

According to the information, in January-August of the current year, electricity production has decreased by 131,1 mln. kW/h in comparison with the corresponding period of the previous year and reached 17502,7 mln. kW/h.
