A meeting in a video format has been held between Minister of Energy of Azerbaijan Parviz Shahbazov and Minister of Energy of Iran Rza Ardakanian, the Ministry told APA-Economics.
The issues included in bilateral and trilateral cooperation agenda in electric power field has been discussed at the meeting. He has evaluated the extension of the "Electricity Purchase Agreement" signed between Azerenergy OJSC and the Iranian company "Tavanir" until 2020 as a step supporting cooperation in this field. Implementation status of Khudaferin and Maiden Tower hydro junctions and hydroelectric power stations, as well as Ordubad Hydroelectric Power Station projects have been discussed at the meeting.
