CBA: Average price of Brent oil increased by 48% in June

As a result of the increase of demand and the influence of implementation of new OPEC+ agreement, in the past period of June, the average price of Brent oil was USD 40, which is USD 27,1 or 48% more than the average price of April, the Central Bank of Azerbaijan told APA-Economics.

According to the information, a relative increase in demand as well as under the influence of the renewed implementation of the OPEC + agreement reached in April, the prices of oil have started to restore.

“In the past period of June the average price of Brent oil was USD 40 which is USD 32,5 or 23% more than the average price of May, and USD 27,1 or 48% higher in comparison to the average price of April,” the CBA said.
