Excise tax exemption for up to 20 grams of gold products brought to Azerbaijan is being abolished, it has been reflected in the amendment proposed to the Tax code discussed at the first reading at the meeting of Milli Majlis held today, APA reports.
According to the draft, imports of 20 grams of gold, jewelry, and other household goods made from it, processed, sorted, framed and hardened 0.5 carat diamonds are excluded from the list.
The draft law was adopted by putting to vote at the first reading.
