Gas transportation via South Caucasus pipeline increased by 72% over the past five years

45 431,7 mln cubic meters of gas has been transported via the Baku-Tbilisi-Erzurum South Caucasus pipeline over the past 5 years (2016-2020), APA-Economics reports citing the figures published by the State Statistics Committee.

According to the calculations, the transportation of gas has increased by 71,7% within 2015-2019 through this pipeline.

The highest figure on the gas transportation via South Caucasus pipeline has been recorded in 2020 – 12 267,7 mln cubic meters.

In the reporting period, the lowest figure in this direction has been observed in 2016 – 7 145,1 mln cubic meters.
