Iranian-Azerbaijani customs cooperation discussed

The meeting was held between Azerbaijan and Iran for the further development of customs corporation, APA’s Tehran bureau reports.

The meeting with the participation of Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Iran Bunyad Huseynov and head of the Islamic Republic of the Iran Customs Administration, Karim Rasuli discussed the problems of customs services and cooperation in the field of transit. Azerbaijani Ambassador to Iran, B.Huseynov thanked the leadership of Iran Customs Administration for the work done to comprehensively develop economic and trade relations between the two countries. Ambassador noted that the process of loading and transportation of goods will be accelerated with the changes made by the new contractor company working on the development of the railway terminal of Astara Customs.
