More than 33 mln. barrels of oil transported via BTC in January-February

33 504 thousand barrels of oil were transported via Baku-Tbilisi Ceyhan (BTC) during January-February of this year, which is 12 % less in comparison to the relevant period of the previous year, APA reports citing Turkish pipeline operator Botas.

38 047 thousand barrels of oil % has been transported via pipeline through Turkey territory in January-February of 2020.

Recall that last year 208 064 thousand barrels of oil has been transported via BTC through Turkey territory and this is 11,5% less than in comparison to the figure of the previous year.

Note that oil produced from Azerbaijan's Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli fields is imported via the BTC pipeline. In addition, oil from other producers is also sent to Turkey via the pipeline.
