More than 9 bln. cubic metres of gas transported via TANAP so far

Nearly 9,1 bln. cubic metres of Azerbaijani gas was transported via Trans-Anatolian gas pipeline (TANAP) since the pipeline commissioned (June 30, 2018) until today, said Turkey’s Energy and National resources minister Fatih Donmez APA-Economics reports citing Anadolu Agency.

 

According to him, 4,9 bln. cubic metres of gas was transported from Azerbaijan to Turkey last year.

Currently, TANAP’s transmission capacity is 16 bln. cubic metres (6 bln. cubic metres is envisaged fro Turkey, while 10 bln. cubic metres for Europe). The transmission capacity of the pipeline can be increased by up to 31 bln. cubic metres.
