OPEC countries will produce more than 28 mln barrels of oil per day in 2022 - FORECAST

Energy Information Administration (EIA) under the US Department of Energy has decreased its forecast of OPEC (Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries) countries for daily crude oil production in 2021, APA-Economics reports citing monthly report of EIA.

The average daily oil production in OPEC countries will be 27,16 mln barrels this year, and this is 0,38 mln barrels less than previous forecast.

According to the report, this figure has made up 25,59 mln barrels (previous forecast – 25,61 mln barrels) in 2020.

According to the forecast of EIA, the daily oil production in OPEC countries will be in the level of 28,23 mln barrels. This figure has made up 29,27 mln barrels in 2019.
