OPEC forecasts growth of demand for oil worldwide

According to the forecast of the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC), this year, the world’s daily average oil demand will be 100.73 mln. barrels which is 0.99 mln. barrels more as compared with indicator of 2019, “APA-Economics" reports citing OPEC’s monthly report.

In 2019, the world’s daily average oil demand made up 98.74 mln. barrels.

The report notes that in the IV quarter of 2020, the world’s oil demand is expected to be 102.38 mln. barrels (a 1.3% growth as compared with relevant period of 2019).

The major part of the total daily average oil demand forecasted for this year (21.07 mln. barrels) falls to the share of the USA.
