During January-July of this year, the power stations running on wind energy generated 61,2 mln. kW-hour of electricity in Azerbaijan which is 13,9% less compared to the same period of 2019, the State Statistics Committee told APA-Economics.
Meanwhile, the power stations running on solar energy increased energy generation. Thus, during January-July, 27,1 mln. kW-hour of electricity were generated by the power stations running on solar energy which is 5,4% more compared to the same period of the last year.
Note that in the reporting period 15 141 mln. kW-hour of electricity were generated in the country (6,9% growth).
