SOCAR-Petrofac and BP sign new contract

Project Management Services contract has been signed between SOCAR-Petrofac LLC ( joint venture established by SOCAR and Petrofac Facilities Management Limited) and BP, APA-Economics reports citing Petrofac.

According to the information, the contract will support the activity of BP Company in Azerbaijan and Georgia.

According to the information, three-year contract will cover BP’s offshore and onshore activity within the frame of the projects Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli, Shahdeniz, Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan Main Export Oil Pipeline, South Caucasus Gas Pipeline and Western Export Pipeline.

Note that, SOCAR-Petrofac LLC was established in 2017 ( SOCAR – 51%, “Petrofac Facilities Management Limited” – 49%). The main purpose in the establishment of the joint venture is to meet demands for local training materials in the training services tenders where Petrofac company attends.
