Seminar held for British companies on renewable energy sector of Azerbaijan

The online seminar has been held in Azerbaijan on the subject “Renewable Energy Sector in Azerbaijan: Changes and Opportunities” co-organized by the International Trade Department of the Embassy of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland in Azerbaijan and the British Business Group, the Ministry of Energy told APA Economics.

The main aim of the seminar was to inform British companies about ongoing reforms, works and plans in the renewable energy sector in Azerbaijan and the discussion of what investment opportunities will this process open to the companies. International Renewable Energy Agency, the World Bank, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, the United Nations Development Program, as well as about 100 representatives and experts from the companies like BP, IBA, Hayward Tyler, Nobel Oil, Royalton Holdings, and Mott MacDonald have participated in the seminar.
