TAP Consortium: “Azerbaijani gas will be ready to be transported to Europe by October of next year”

The gas produced from the Shah Deniz gas and condensate field located in the Azerbaijani sector of the Caspian Sea will be ready to be transported to Europe by October of next year, Vugar Veysalov, TAP Head of External Affairs stated, APA-Economics reports citing Anadolu Agency.

Stating that TAP has invested EUR 4,6 bln in this project, Vugar Veysalov stated that 90,5 of the project has been completed: “The main countries of the project are Greece, Albania and Italy. TAP will transport 10 bln. Cubic meters of natural gas of Trans Anatolian Pipeline (TANAP) to Europea. But the amount will depend on requirement and the decision of carriers.”
