Gas imports to Ukraine from the EU countries increased by 24% for six months of 2020 compared to the same period last year, APA-Economics reports citing Tellerreport.

This was reported by the press service of the company "Operator of the GTS of Ukraine."

“For the first half of 2020, total natural gas revenues from EU countries to Ukraine amounted to 7 billion cubic meters. m, which is 24% (1.3 billion cubic meters) more than the same period last year, "the report said.

As noted, these indicators are 40% higher than the average in 2016-2019.

According to the company, for six months Ukraine imported 3.9 billion cubic meters from Slovakia. m of gas from Hungary - 2.2 billion cubic meters. m, from Poland - 0.9 billion cubic meters. m
