Volume of gas delivered from ACG to SOCAR increased by 40%

During the first quarter of this year, ACG oil-gas field, situated in the Azerbaijani sector of the Caspian Sea, delivered 0.7 billion cubic meters associated gas to SOCAR, primarily at the Sangachal Terminal but also to SOCAR’s Oil Rocks facility and it is 40% more in comparison with the relevant indicator of 2019, APA-Economics reports citing BP’s (operator of project) report regarding annual results of 2019 on its operations in Azerbaijan.

According to information, on average 7,9 million cubic meters gas were delivered from ACG to the SOCAR in the previous year.

“The remainder of the associated gas produced was re-injected for reservoir pressure maintenance”, noted in the report.
