British Anglo-Asian Mining Company, engaged with gold, silver, and copper production in Azerbaijan, published a report on finals of the first half and second quarter of the current year, APA-Economics reports citing the statement.
For the second quarter ended June, Anglo Asian's production rose 3% year-on-year to 19,618 gold equivalent ounces. Total volume of production increased by 669 ounces or by 3.4% in comparison with the first quarter of the year.
In the second quarter, output rose 2.3% to 17,149 ounces, copper rose 35,5% to 450 tones, while output silver decreased by 24.7% and became 33 292 ounces.
In the first half output production standed at 39 905 ounces by rising 7% compared to corresponding period of the current year. At the same time, first-half gold production jumped 3.4% to 34,394 ounces, copper production reached 963 tones by rising 64%, while silver production was 84 586 ounces decreasing by 0.2%.
Additionally, volume of cash funds of Anglo-Asian Mining reached USD 15.4 mln. by increasing 42,5% in January-June of the current year in comparison with corresponding period of previous year.
