SOCAR President Rovnag Abdullayev has held a meeting with delegation, led by Natia Turnava, the Minister of Economic and Sustainable Development of Georgia, SOCAR told APA-Economics.
Azerbaijan and SOCAR have been mentioned as the main energy suppliers in the region, some issues related to gas supply to Georgia have been discussed in the meeting.
N. Turnava thoroughly talked on the SOCAR’s succesful activity in Georgia as a gas distribution network operator and prospects of cooperation. An exchange of views on some issues, such as provision of SOCAR’s sustainable activity in the country in the framework of market terms, determined by Georgian government, and mutually-profitable, optimal, and effective cooperation formula providing that values of investments will return to Azerbaijan.
