In January-August of the current year, Azerbaijan has transported about 6.6 bln c/m gas through Baku-Tbilisi-Erzurum South Caucasus Pipeline and it is 31.9% more than the corresponding period of the previous year, APA-Economics reports citing State Statistics Committee.
During the past period, 17, 86 bln. c/m gas has been transported through main gas pipelines of the country, and the indicator is 18.8% more than relevant period of the previous year.
According to the Committee, 36.9% of the gas transported via main gas pipelines falls to share of Baku-Tbilisi-Erzurum pipeline.
