Azerbaijan plans to increase oil production next year, The Minister of Energy of the Republic of Azerbaijan Parviz Shahbazov said at the press conference held in headquarters of New Azerbaijan Party, APA-Economics reports.
According to him, the stable level of oil production is forecasted during this year. According to this, in the level of 38,7 mln tons of oil production is expected for this year.
“ It is expected that oil production will slightly increase to stand at 39 mln. tons next year,” Parviz Shahbazov added.
According to the minister, it is predicted that oil production in 2021 will remain as the level of 2020.
Note that, according to the State Statistics Committee nearly 38,76 mln tons of oil produced in Azerbaijan in 2018.
