In January-July of the current year, industrial plants and individual entrepreneurs, acting in this field, manufactured industrial products costing AZN 27,3 bln. or by 2.2% more than the corresponding period of 2018, APA-Economics reports citing State Statistical Committee.
The Committee stated that production in the non-oil and gas sector of the industry has increased by 15.8%.
According to the Committee, 70% of industrial products have been manufactured in the mining sector, while 25.1%- manufacturing sector, 4.2%- production, distribution, and supply of electricity, gas and stream, 0.7%- water supply, waste treatment, and processing. Oil production in the mining sector has dropped by 2.5%, while natural commodity production has jumped by 34%.
