Azerbaijan to increase gas production by 47% in 2021

45 bln c/m gas is expected to be produced in Azerbaijan in 2021, Azerbaijan’s Minister of Energy Parviz Shahbazov said in the press conference in NAP’s headquarter, APA-Economics reports.

According to him, 40,2 bln c/m gas production is forecasted in Azerbaijan for the next year.

“It is expected gas production will increase by 19% or 5,8 bln. c/m next year in comparison with the indicator of the previous year”, the Minister added.

P. Shahbazov said that 23,1 bln. c/m gas has been produced in the 8 months of this year in Azerbaijan and it is 18.8% more than the previous year.

Note that according to the information of the State Statistics Committee, 30,6 bln. c/m gas was produced in Azerbaijan in 2018.
