“Azerbaijan excepts holding an emergent ministerial meeting of Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) and OPEC+”, Azerbaijan’s Minister of Energy Parviz Shahbazov said in the press conference in NAP’s headquarter, APA-Economics reports.

According to him, attack on Saudi oil facilities, carried out recently, did not greatly affect general oil prices in the world.

Although instability appeared in oil market for several days after incident, the situation has normalized currently.

According to P. Shahbazov he held a phone conversation with Secretary General of OPEC Mohammad Sanusi Barkindo and the sides discussed current condition of oil market: “At the moment there is no need for such a meeting. Condition is constant in oil market, prices are getting stable.”
