Industrial production in Azerbaijan increases by 1.7%

Amount of goods, produced by industrial institutions and individual entrepreneurs, acting in this field in Azerbaijan has become AZN 34.7 bln. in January-September of the current year, and this is by 1.7% more in comparison with the relevant period of 2018, APA-Economics reports citing State Statistics Committee.

Product manufacture has increased by 15.6% in non-oil sector of industry.

According to the Committee, 69.9% of industrial productions - the mining industry, 25.2% - manufacture industry, 4.2% - electricity, gas, and steam production, distribution, and supply sphere, and 0.7% - water supply, waste treatment, and disposal field in reporting period.

Oil production in mining sector has decreased by 2.8%, while natural gas production increased by 29.3%.
