Azerbaijan is forecasted to transport 40 mln tones of oil through the main oil pipelines in 2023 which is a 1.2% decrease compared to the 2019 forecast, APA-Economics reports citing the State Budget Envelope of the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2020.
40.5 mln tones of oil are expected to be transported by main oil pipelines in the country this year.
According to the document, 40.6 mln tones of oil in 2020, 40.9 mln tones of oil in 2021, and 40.8 mln tones of oil in 2023 are forecasted to be transported in the republic.
In general, the cargo transportation in the transport sector is expected to be 238.1 mln tones this year, 244.9 mln tones in 2020, 253.2 mln tones in 2021, 258.1 mln tones in 2022, and 261.5 mln tons in 2023.
