In January-August of this year, Turkey imported 6,04 bln. c/m gas from Azerbaijan and it is 35.1% more in comparison with corresponding period of the previous year. Thus, Azerbaijan ranks in the second place in total gas import of Turkey, APA-Economics reports citing Energy Market Regulatory Authority (EMRA) of the Republic of Turkey.
Turkey imported 4 473,83 bln. c/m gas from Azerbaijan in January-August of the previous year.
Russia ranks in the first place for gas import to Turkey, about 10,62 bln c/m gas was imported from Russia to Turkey in January-August.
Iran, ranked in the third place, transported 4,52 bln. c/m gas to Turkey in reporting period.
Note that Turkey’s gas import was 25,43 bln. c/m in the last period.
