USD 1,452 bln. spent on activities of ACG during 9 months of this year

In January-September of the current year operating costs amounted to more than $ 418 mln., and nearly $ 1 034 mln capital expenditures were spent on activities of Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli field block, BP told APA-Economics.

In April 2019 Azeri Central East project was sanctioned. This development project which is worth $ 6 bln. Includes construction of new offshore platforms and facilities. The platform has been designed to produce up to 100,000 barrels of oil per day and it is expected to produce 300 mln barrel additional oil during the exploitation period. The first production within the framework of the project is planned in 2023.
